SMALL EARLY CHILDS PEARLWARE PLATE

This is a small delightful 4 1/4 " child's transferware plate , circa 1840. The plate is light weight and beautifully potted with a heavy pearlware glaze.
It is transfer printed in green. The rim has press molded flowers and leaves that are hand clobbered in shades of green, red and blue. The central image is of a young girl attentively feeding her two favorite Rabbits outside their hutch.
