This superb 15 3/8 inch long x 12 1/2 inch wide platter is transfer printed in dark black against a white background.
A lovely scalloped edge with fabulous rim transfers leading to the central image.
This historical platter is of particular interest to Philadephia and the Pennsylvania area. The center scene depIcts the trading of goods during 1683 peace treaty between William Penn and the North American Indians. The foliage and architecture in this scene is truly extraordinary.
Never Used and the condition is remarkable. Slight discoloration to the photos from camera flash.
