AESTHETIC MOVEMENT ERA
TRANSFERWARE DINNER PLATE
W.T. Copeland Potteries ~ Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire England c. 1881
This large Victorian 9 7/8“ dinner plate is transfer printed in dark black against a white background and further enhanced with bright blue, red, golden yellow and turquoise.
The pattern features a border of geometric designs with fancy scrolls and daisy flowers cascading into the well of the piece. A fabulous central image of an oversized exotic flower finishes off this great plate.
Condition is great.
