AESTHETIC BLACK TRANSFERWARE PLATTER

This large Victorian aesthetic 16 " long x 13 " wide exciting platter is transfer printed in dark black. The clear and crisp NANKIN pattern features one of the best Japanesque ribbons we have seen with an exotic landscape, geometric flower motifs and trailing tails with a bird and ocean scene. Wrapping around the exquisite platter are fans is a fan and cartouches of bamboo, sailing ships and very interesting looking birds. The pattern displays the victorian eras love of nature and travel to exotic lands.
Condition is EXCELLENT. Clean, shiny and bright. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.
