This Victorian very large 10 3/8 " dinner plate is transfer printed in luscious blue. The crisp BAMBOO pattern features a very exotic and geometric border with stalks of bamboo running through the well of the pattern. Cartouches of a waterwheel village and outrageous flowers and a butterfly perched on the water complete the busy exotic scene. The pattern displays the victorian eras love of nature and travel to exotic lands.
