This 9 1/2 inch plate is transfer printed in black against a white background.
A lovely scalloped edge with fabulous rim transfers leading to the central image.
This historical plate is of particular interest to Philadephia and the Pennsylvania area. The center scene depcts the signing of the 1683 peace treaty between William Penn and the North American Indians. The foliage and architecture in this scene is truly extraordinary.
Never Used and the Condition is great. Displays beautifully, No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. An exceptionally rare piece of transferware. Clean frontside with light discoloration to the rear.
