This 2 5/8" high x 2 3/4" diameter child's mug, excluding the applied, has a crisp image transfer printed in rich chocolate brown with great four color polychrome hand painting, clobbering in shades of red, golden yellow, green and cobalt blue.  

The image is part of the Bible Tales series, David and Goliath.  This transfer, rarely seen on the market, will be a special abc mug in your collection.

In addition to the entire ABC alphabet transfer with the classic Brownhills decorative clover transfer, this mug has a central scolled cartouche of David with his shepards staff and his weapon, the sling, crossing a brook on his way to try and slay Goliath, the Philistine.  One smooth stone and rest is history.

Condition is great with a minuscule glaze flake to the rim.
