This Victorian tobacco box measures 6 inches long x 3 3/4 inches wide x 2 1/8 inches tall and transferred in black.
The piece, with original lid, was made by Fielding Potteries in Stoke on Trent. The Sobranie Tobacco Company was producing the rare blend, Yenidje in the latter part of the nineteenth century. They supplied Gentlemens' clubs of the time, and later foreign and British Royalty, the officers mess of British regiments, and countless historical and literary figures, including Oscar Wilde and Winston Churchill
The piece is in great condition.
