ANTIQUARIAN PATTERN
Staffordshire, England ~ 1820-1840
These outstanding 8 inch plates are printed in burgundy. Each plate has a wonderful scalloped edge and a white molded beaded edge. The edge is covered in a luscious floral design with dahlia groupings, swags of flowers and baskets of flowers.
In the foreground of the central scene are a pair of resting deer, the stag with large antlers. Over-scaled flowers, a gothic tower and church, forests and a lake complete this delicious scene.
