This original antique game board is framed in a black matte frame measuring 19 1/4 inches x 19 1/4 inches with a protective plexiglass covering.
The game board is filled with early graphics and bright colors. The players Travel the world on their race to New York. A geography and history lesson as you race the course. The board has a chess or checkers game to the rear.
All-Fair Toys and Games branched off of Alderman-Fairchild Company of Rochester, NY in 1926 and moved to Churchville, New York. At the time, Herman Fisher was promoted to vice president of the new company. In 1930, Mr. Fisher made an unsuccessful attempt to buy the All-Fair Toy Company. Still wanting to start his own toy company, Mr. Fisher moved to East Aurora, New York and created Fisher-Price with Irving Price and Helen Schelle.
Very good condition as shown in the photos. Colors are still very bright. Displays beautifully, a work of classic lithographed early 20th century art.
