AESTHETIC BROWN TRANSFERWARE POLYCHROME BUTTER KEEP

This wonderful Victorian brown aesthetic movement covered butter or cheese keeper is transfer printed in dark brown and then further embellished with under the glaze painting in burnt orange luster. 5 inches square x 4 1/2 inches tall.
The pattern features a fancy pin wheel flowers as a background the many daisies and wonderful cartouches of vines and geometric designs and a magnificent bird. A beautiful piece.
Never Used and the condition is great. A tiny glaze chip to the inside insert edge.
