The decorative advertising is transfer-printed in black and underneath the glaze and reads ‘BUTTER’ in a great letter font. Vent holes to the top of the lid
The butter tub is in great condition. One tiny glaze flake off the bottom and some buttery spots to the bottom. A great example, rare to find as displays beautifully
Very popular with the American market today although probably made for the English trade.
