This Victorian 6 " x 6 "tile is transfer printed in blue against an off white background showing good detail and good contrast.

The tile from the Early English 12 Months Series was designed by Helen J. A. Miles, an artist extraordinaire at the Wedgwood factories.  This particular tile depicts the month of July and features images of a young girl and boy walking along the sea's shoreline with boats docked in the harbor beyond.

Great Wedgwood tile in never used condition.  Lovely copper frame for display or removal.
