Rare Intact American Blue Cheese Preserver

Maytag Dairy Farm  Newton, Iowa ~ 1941

This large heavy thick ribbed Blue Cheese holder was made for a grocer’s counter to display the award winning Blue Cheese from Maytag Farm.

8 inches wide x 6 1/2 inches wide and weighs a healthy 6 pounds.

Champion herd of Holstein-Friesian cows produced milk turned into cheese in European style caves.  The Blue Cheese produced by the farm rivals any available worldwide.
