This outstanding milk pan rattle measures 7 inches tall x 4 1/2 inches wide.  

Loop handle with company logo on a belt and crown black transfer.

Placed inside a pot of milk, these would alert the baker as to when the milk was about to boil with a sharp rattling sound.

Rare find and large size.  Condition is good with a few darkened crazing lines and a chip to the inside of the base..  Great decorative item for cottage, country or primitive decor or immediate use.
