Antique Hand Carved Maple Bread Board
A superb English antique wooden bread board beautifully hand-carved with 'Bread' at the top and a little flower at the bottom. This delightful board would be a great addition to your kitchen - useful as well as decorative!
Probably dating from the 1930’s, this charming bread board has a gorgeous silky patina - very tactile! It is wonderfully time-worn with age-related wear, marks, and scratches from use. We believe the piece is maple rather than sycamore.
The board measures a large 11 1/2 inches in diameter.
