LARGE STAFFORDSHIRE BLUE TRANSFERWARE PLATTER

This unrecorded patterned large early blue transferware  platter measures 19 3/4 inches long x 15 inches wide.   It is beautifully transfer printed in the richest dark blue.  A piece of art for any wall or collection.  Possibly a one of a kind as all the professionals we have contacted have never seen another.

Very good condition with very light utensil marks and an old professional repair at the 9 o’clock position and a small old chip to the backside of the rim.  Large display pieces of this quality don't come along often, and the contrast and composition is especially beautiful.
