c. 1890
This early version Victorian 3 3/8 " wide x 1 5/8 " tall covered ceramic earthenware container was made during Victorian times containing Borax. Borax has many uses from softening water to use in gold mining. A very attractive pot with fabulous transfers around the pot as well as inside the lid.
Great condition. The base has some very light old age staining
