MARVELOUS AESTHETIC BROWN TRANSFERWARE PLATE

This very desirable Victorian aesthetic 10 1/8 " large plate is transfer printed in delicious dark chocolate brown.
The pattern features the well of the plate covered in a multitude of Hawthorn flower, berries and branches. Hawthorn has been used since our early history by Herbalists for its medicinal qualities.
The rim to the plate is quite intense as it displays white on brown for a dark chocolate effect. Spectacular and rare to find in this large size and good condition.
Condition is very good. No chips, no cracks and no repairs. A light spider line to the rear only.
